What’s the difference between the standard EuroMillions draw and the EuroMillions Super Jackpot?
Just the guaranteed massive jackpot! While the regular EuroMillions jackpot is based on ticket sales with a default restarting jackpot of €17 million, the EuroMillions Super Jackpot jackpot must start from at least €130 million. Both the Super Jackpot and regular EuroMillions jackpot have a current maximum jackpot of €240 million.
EuroMillions Super Jackpots operate in the same way and with the same rules as the regular EuroMillions draws, and simply replace the regular draws for a series. Players choose 5 Main Numbers and 2 Lucky Star Numbers, the prize tiers are all laid out in the same way, and you still win the jackpot by matching all 7 of your numbers with the winning numbers from the draw.
If the jackpot isn’t won on the first Super Jackpot, it starts rolling over until either it’s won, or it hits the cap. 📈

What happens if the Super Jackpot jackpot isn’t won?
It works like this. 👇🏽
1. If the Super Jackpot isn’t won straightaway on the first date of the Super Jackpot series, the Super Jackpot jackpot will roll over to the next draw.
2. The jackpot will continue to roll either until it’s won, or until it reaches the €240 million cap.
3. If the jackpot rolls over enough to reach the cap, it can remain at that value for a maximum of 4 draws until it’s won.
4. If the jackpot still isn’t won after these 4 rollovers, the jackpot prize money will be rolled down to the next available prize tiers and divided among the winners!

On average, EuroMillions will host at least 3 unmissable Super Jackpots a year! EuroMillions Super Jackpots aren’t strictly scheduled for any specific dates but happen when enough money has built up in the EuroMillions Reserve Fund. The next EuroMillions Super Jackpot is scheduled for Friday 9th September 2022.
How is the EuroMillions Super Jackpot funded?
To guarantee a mega jackpot value, EuroMillions Super Jackpot are funded by the EuroMillions Reserve Fund, which is made up of a small percentage of the generated income from regular EuroMillions tickets sold throughout the previous weeks or months. Once enough funds have accumulated, the Super Jackpot series is announced! 💰
